World of Hyatt members are now eligible to earn 1,000 bonus Etihad Guest miles, in addition to any World of Hyatt points, for qualifying stays at participating Hyatt hotels and resorts. Here are the steps to earn the promotion:

1. Create a World of Hyatt account.
2. Create an Etihad Guest account.
3. Register for the promotion by February 29th, 2024.
4. Complete stay(s) at participating World of Hyatt properties between February 1st, 2024 and March 30th, 2024.

After registration, participants will earn 1,000 bonus Etihad Guest miles per eligible stay. This includes stays booked with cash, cash + points, points, and free night awards.

Marriott Bonvoy Bonus Points And Elite Night Credits

The Marriott Bonvoy program also has a new promotion, which offers guests the opportunity to earn both bonus points and Elite Night Credits. However, unlike the Hyatt promotion, the Marriott promotion is only applicable to cash stays (i.e. no cash + points or any type of award redemption). Here are the steps to earn the promotion:

1. Create a Marriott Bonvoy account.
2. Register for the promotion by April 15th, 2024.
3. Complete stay(s) at participating Marriott Bonvoy properties between February 13th, 2024 and April 29th, 2024.

After registration, participants will earn 1,000 bonus points and 1 bonus Elite Night Credit on each eligible paid night with no earning limits.

Final Thoughts

While Etihad Guest miles are notoriously difficult to use, there is no such thing as “bad” free points. What makes the World of Hyatt promotion with Etihad so appealing is the ability to “double dip” on points. The promotion allows for earning both World of Hyatt points and benefits as well as Etihad Guest miles on all stays. This is a “no-brainer,” even for those who have no planned stays. On the Marriott side, there is no downside for those who sign up for the promotion. However, the scope limit to only cash stays decreases the overall value. With that said, the “double Elite Night Credit” opportunity is perfect for those chasing either Titanium or Ambassador status with the Marriott Bonvoy program in 2024.
