Since launching in 2021, BILT quickly made a name for itself by taking a unique approach to travel rewards. This included earning points on rent, launching a no annual fee credit card, offering 150% transfer bonuses, and more. Today, BILT Rewards, the nation’s leading loyalty program that rewards consumers on rent and neighborhood spend, adds another chapter to their story with the announcement of a landmark partnership with Alaska Airlines.
BILT Adds Alaska Airlines As Newest Transfer Partner
Starting March 15th, 2024, BILT Rewards members can transfer points 1:1 into Alaska Airlines Mileage Plan miles. These miles are redeemable on Alaska Airlines flights, Oneworld partner flights, and Alaska Airlines non-alliance partners (i.e. Condor, LATAM, Korean Air, Starlux, etc) when booked via Alaska Airlines. The partnership with Alaska Airlines is an impressive addition to the BILT Rewards ecosystem, as BILT is the first, and only, transfer partner for Alaska Airlines.
“As one of the most loved brands in aviation, this first-of-its-kind partnership with Alaska Airlines not only broadens Bilts members’ ability to travel everywhere Alaska and its partners fly but also exemplifies our commitment to providing Americans with more valuable ways to earn and redeem rewards on their largest monthly expense, rent, and within their local neighborhood.”
– BILT Rewards CEO, Ankur Jain
Alaska Airlines Visa Signature® Cardholders To Earn 3x On Rent
“This innovative new partnership with BILT will enable our guests who rent to get even more value from their Alaska Visa Signature card and builds upon our industry-leading loyalty offering. Our guests can use their miles for travel on Alaska and our Oneworld and additional Global Partners to 1,000+ destinations across the world.”

Final Thought
Out with the old, and in with the new. In the wake of the news announcing the end of the partnership with American Airlines, BILT announces a new partnership with Alaska Airlines. Despite the in-process devaluation of the Alaska Airlines Mileage Plan award chart, this news is extremely exciting for the world of travel rewards. Prior to BILT, Alaska Airlines Mileage Plan miles were notoriously difficult to earn outside of the co-branded credit cards. However, while the opportunity to transfer BILT Rewards points 1:1 to Alaska Airlines Mileage Plan grabs the headlines, this partnership goes much deeper. This hopefully implies a longer-term commitment by both sides.
…maybe even a 150% transfer bonus in the future? We can only dream!
