Other Notable Park Hyatt Properties

Park Hyatt Siem Reap. Image Credit: Hyatt

The majority of Park Hyatt properties are known for their aspirational nature (i.e. Hyatt Category 7 or 8) and high sticker price. With that said, there are a handful of Hyatt properties which offer similar levels of luxury, without the exorbitant price tag. Here are a list of Park Hyatt properties, which fall in the Category 1-4 range:

Argentina: Park Hyatt Mendoza (Category 3)

Australia: Hyatt Hotel Canberra – A Park Hyatt Hotel (Category 3)

Cambodia: Park Hyatt Siem Reap (Category 3)

China: Park Hyatt Ningbo Resort and Spa (Category 4) & Park Hyatt Suzhou (Category 4)

India: Park Hyatt Chennai (Category 1) & Park Hyatt Hyderabad (Category 2)

Indonesia: Park Hyatt Jakarta (Category 4)

Vietnam: Park Hyatt Saigon (Category 4)

What makes a Hyatt Category 4 property “special” is the ability to use a Free Night certificate. These are relatively easy to earn and provide tremendous value.

Final Thoughts

Despite the large Hyatt footprint in the United States, the majority of the best Park Hyatt redemptions are international. While a Park Hyatt stay provides extreme luxury and unparalleled customer service, it comes at a significant cost (in either cash or points). These aspirational stays, for most, are often “one-and-done” as the opportunity cost is extremely high; especially in North America, Europe, and Japan. With that said, the Park Hyatt properties in Asia offer the same level of luxury and service, at a fraction of the cost.
